Lightflows is proud to announce that, following a competitive tender process, we have been awarded a contract by Henley Royal Regatta.
Established in 1839, Henley Royal Regatta is a cornerstone of the British summer social season and the world’s premier rowing event. Held annually in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, it takes place on the River Thames, attracting thousands of spectators and competitors from around the world. The 2025 Regatta runs from 2-6 July, featuring over 400 races along the famous Henley course, a straight stretch of water renowned for its competitive and historic significance.
In 2024, the Regatta saw a record 771 entries from 27 countries, including 554 domestic and 217 overseas crews. The event typically draws around 300,000 spectators each year, bringing an electric atmosphere to the town and riverside.
Through this multi-year agreement, we will continue to develop the web-based race results and entry management system, introducing new features to support the regatta’s seamless racing and broadcast operation. Ed Warner, Head of Operations at Henley Royal Regatta said:
