At Lightflows, we’re self confessed and unashamedly Apple fans and like many of those we’re eagerly awaiting the supposed announcement of the new Apple iSlate , a tablet computer that features a multi-touch screen – think “large iPhone”.
According to reputable sites such as Gizmondo, iSlate.org and MacRumours the new device will be unveiled by Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on January 27 at 10:00 a.m. The device is rumoured to be available for purchase later in this quarter.
Select members of the technology press have been sent these wonderfully colourful invites, with the tantalisingly tempting strapline “Come see our latest creation”.
We can only hope the the iSlate proves as popular as the iPhone has been, and look forward to getting our hands on a device to start developing new applications later in the year.
