A 15% increase in purchase conversions for a leading multi-territory gardening brand

Love The Garden is redefining gardening. In addition to its wide range of gardening products, it offers expert advice, tips, and inspiration for novices and expert gardeners. With over ten different markets, Love the Garden was a big project to take on.

Laying the groundwork for success

Uncovering insights through collaboration

After an in-depth discovery phase and several workshops and discussions we were able to understand Love the Garden’s pain points and objectives.

The solution

Enhancing performance and sustainability

To address the hosting and infrastructure issues we improved database synchronisation and overall site reliability. Our backend updates focused on a user-friendly content management system enables content editors to make modifications simpler and faster.

We also optimised content and technical elements to improve visibility on search engines  and lowered the site’s Co2 footprint.

Enhancing user experience and driving conversions

Strategic design and functionality

Another goal with the Love the Garden site was to improve user engagement and drive higher conversion rates. Through a number of different strategic design and functionality enhancements we created an engaging experience encouraging users to take action. Here’s what we implemented:

  • Streamlined newsletter sign ups: We implemented five customisable widgets which are strategically aligned across the site to align with user intent.
  • Encouraged ‘buy now’ conversions: To maximise conversions we strategically placed the ‘buy now’ options throughout the website making the user-experience simplier for customers and encouraging them to purchase.
  • Enhanced store locator functionality: Users often search for there local stores and we wanted to ensure this was as user-friendly as possible. To do this, we  revamped the store locator experience to make it faster improving customer satisfaction.

The results

Scalable solutions

By focusing on the user’s journey and ensuring a simpler more interactive experience, we helped Love the Garden achieve their conversion goals.
